The owners go out of their way and the food is very good right down to the service. I myself know what I'm talking about !! We are happy to have such a restaurant in our neighboring village, especially with German cuisine. It is best to rent out the right space for such events, but no, you would have to pay rent / room costs! If you already write that you come from the trade, then you have to assume that you will accept such decisions. Therefore, they have no idea. Dear Ms. Caminada, don't find your entry very nice. First, praise the food, service. Then write that you come from the catering trade yourself. Point 1 For an event you actually have to pay room rent !!! Point 2 In which restaurant can you take your own drinks, meals, etc.? Point 3 You have pointed out to the participants that if you leave the table, face mask is mandatory. Some people have ignored that. Item 4 Pay the fine when an inspection comes. Point 5 I was also a guest. And one thing you should know, nothing went to the head of the host couple. What you write here is detrimental to business. I can only confirm one thing so delicious I haven't eaten in a long time. The kitchen and the service as well as the premises are simply wonderful. First visit 23.09.2020 Very friendly service and the food was excellent. We'll be back 👍 Addition 10/14/2020 Unfortunately we will not be back! Apparently, business is doing so well that it got into the innkeeper's head🤨. People we knew had booked the hall again for an event like in September. Now the cancellation came today with the reason that the hall is no longer available for events (with a previous dinner, mind you). You need this for the "normal" guests. Haughtiness comes before the event! It's a shame, everyone had raved about the Kupferdächli, some were also there privately afterwards and there are also people who have already reserved their private birthday parties and family events. I think this shot backfires. I myself come from the catering and hotel industry and I know enough how difficult it is in this industry. Myopia and short-term thinking is out of place. I would have wished for more instinct and solution-oriented action. That's why I'm correcting my 5 stars to only 3!

Thanks to the new tenant, the restaurant has been made nicely cozy. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant comes highly recommended.

Fine food but pricey

The breaded veal schnitzel was divine and the salad plate with it was also very tasty. The food was also appetizingly presented. Finally, I treated myself to a panna cotta. It was awesome! The waitresses were also very polite. Was nothing to complain about from my side! 👍

New tenant, new team - absolutely recommendable and worth a visit. The food is home-style with that little something extra. The prices are perfectly fine. The staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We had a super nice evening at the Kupferdächli with great, extremely tasty food in the form of the 5-course surprise menu.
